Opportunities to participate
For elderly and disabled Victorians, maintaining housing and living independently in the community can present a range of challenges.
Haven understands this and has a dedicated Aged Care and Disability Support Services team to address these needs.
Our programs and services focus on helping clients to develop greater independence and self-reliance, and on creating opportunities for them to participate more actively in the community. This can involve:
- Disability residential support
- Working with supported accommodation services to improve the quality of life of residents in their care
- Case management services and housing support for elderly peoplein-home support for a range of clients
- Outreach services to new arrivals, refugees and others who are socially or geographically isolated and lack access to services and information.
We also run programs tailored to people with an Acquired Brain Injury, multiple and complex needs, or psychiatric disabilities.
