We hope you enjoy reading this our first Annual Report prepared under the new trading name of Haven.
As you will see from the opening pages we have a new name and a new home, but our aim remains the same, to help and house people in need.
What is clear by the end of the report, and equally gratifying, is that as a mission-driven organisation we have helped thousands of people in both small ways and large, housing hundreds of people, many of them permanently, and reaching out to others to help them take the necessary steps to security, stability and some measure of self confidence and reliance.
You’ll also notice that we have moved away from the standard format to produce more of a narrative-style report about what, how and why we do things to give our stakeholders a greater sense and appreciation of our story.
We’re very pleased with the result. We think you will be too.
